  • This briefing explores the rapidly evolving field of AI and the key technologies shaping its future. It covers foundational concepts to cutting-edge trends, such as generative AI and large language models (LLMs), and explains what these technologies are, where they originated, and their current and potential applications.

    Designed to be clear and accessible, this session aims to make topics like generative AI and tools such as ChatGPT more approachable and empower participants to deepen their understanding of AI technologies and applications.

Fundamentals: AI, Data, Algorithms, Models, Machine Learning, Neural Networks, Deep Learning 

  • This briefing introduces a high-level overview of the field and study of artificial intelligence. It explores the history of computer systems designed to mimic human intelligence, the working definition of artificial intelligence, the role of data and algorithms in AI, and how models are trained. Topics include machine learning, neural networks, and deep learning, including illustrative examples of how AI models are developed and applied in real-world use cases.
